Update 03/08/2014
Spare camera is there. GPS works. However, overall rather poor. Despite charged AGPS data from the first fix takes a long time. If you move, despite a clear sky in a city, there is very often no position, or with considerable deviation. In contrast, a parallel mitloggendes smartphone provides the perfect track. As a workaround, only the camera time is to be set via satellite. As smartphone and camera are synchronized so perfect you can tag with the smartphone data the pictures then. According to Nikon service the camera would not be a Garmin device.
I would have gladly paid more for a 5-qualified GPS receiver!
Another point of criticism: The USB connector on the camera is compatible with nothing, which is a proprietary format Nikon. So you always have to take the original cable.
The WLAN can be coupled with at least DslrDashboard. So you can control the camera with the smartphone / tablet.
The battery life is Ok, who photographed much can not get to a 2nd battery.
