Small on the outside - spacious inside

Requirements:
A photo backpack to take camera, several lenses, a flash, an average tripod and various small parts such as filters and batteries. The equipment should it be protected against shock and moisture, the design as neutral as possible and without manufacturer label a Photo Group, which would suggest a valuable content. The risers should, like a hiking backpack, sit comfortably so that the backpack is comfortable to wear on long hikes or city trips.

Impression:
The Amazon Basics SLR backpack looks at first glance neat processed and externally surprisingly small for a SLR backpack. In the interior subjects is in the middle of an SLR with screwed telephoto or zoom lens space (total length 35cm inside). Right, left and below the camera, there are other 7 subjects. My Canon 305D fits of their height (with battery grip 14cm) so precisely into the rucksack. Cameras with greater overall height (camera + handle) can not accommodate with screwed Tele. The interior layout can be easily converted using the Velcro fasteners according to your wishes. In the inside of the outer flap, two flat zipped compartments of 18x22 and 14x26cm for cables and other accessories, see, more flat pockets in the intermediate compartment of the flap. Memory cards can be accommodated in one of the two lateral outer bags; I find the less practical.

In a small backpack looks a waist strap, the dangling somewhere far above the hip, ridiculous. Since he does not fulfill any function, is the best way to cut him the same.

Opportunities for improvement:
--- A separate accommodation in individual subjects for up to four individual memory cards I'd rather have the inside of the backpack.

--- On a photo backpack with integrated rain cover, like a hood lässst pull over the bag, I am interested in a corresponding charge, as I have already several variants to be soaked completely with photo equipment tried.

In continuous use remains to be seen whether the camera equipment is protected in this backpack with rain from getting wet, as if the attachment of the strap on the backpack is sturdy enough. About my experience I will report you.

++ As hand luggage, the backpack has proved.
++ Now I know the transparent inside pockets to appreciate.
- Although the backpack is rarely fully loaded with camera and interchangeable lenses, the mounting of the straps gradually loosens.
- To transport a complete SLR equipment in the backpack, the handle should be stable above.
