Preliminary note: For years I have had in my motorhome (Alcove) problems with radio reception. Antennas have been changed several times and installed new, tried different lengths antenna poles, create a multi-brand car radios. To receive last attempt with a Becker Traffic with also lean result, ie, on FM were only two or three strong stations. There were also after installing a new monitor for the rearview camera considerable noise. After the reviews I read here about the active phantom power, further using the Hirschmann-roof antenna, I corresponded with the comments Terence Trent D Arby fasting and courage to try it with the here largely praised part. So have the active phantom power and a Hirschmann roof antenna with integrated amplifier, assembled everything and - it is just great! Although the handset is in a barn surrounded by all kinds of gadgets, I receive various regional and national FM stations (including TMC and TP) and other stations on MW / LW / SW. Added to this is that the previous noise of the monitor no longer occur and not be heard!
