The subwoofer is not an exaggerated size and is simply painted black. The sound bar has a glossy black finish (plastic) and in the field of speaker a textile protective cover. On this textile covering collects dust at me, what bothers me a little bit. On the upper side, the sound bar has a touch control panel, so I can control the soundbar. Remote condition looks cheap and does not speak to me. On the whole, however, everything looks well made.
------ Condition / building ------
The structure was really easy. The manual is available in print! I have not needed. Subwoofer is connected to a cable with the Soundbar and the soundbar itself is connected to a power supply. Place the enclosed batteries into the remote condition and already the Soundbar is ready.
Connect -Soundbar with TV on Sound Connect (Bluetooth)
Now you can, if you have a Samsung TV (I think from the H series) has, couple the 2.1 sound system on sound Connect.
But one has to go to the TV menu -> Sound> Lautersprechereinstellung-> Add new device. Then on the soundbar remote condition USB / Bluetooth, press the button until the sound bar display BT stands. Even the device is connected!
With my TV remote condition I can adjust the volume and the sound bar a, - and off. The Soundbareinstellungen itself, such as bass control or the surround settings, I can set only on the Soundbarfernbedingung.
Connect -Soundbar with TV over optical cable
The connection is made using an optical cable. It give an input on the TV and the sound beams. On the Internet I read that the sound through an optical cable is better than using a Bluetooth connection. I could honestly not tell the difference!
Controlling the Soundbar with the TV remote condition is no longer possible! You then have to use the remote condition of Soundbar. But I can control them. On the remote condition all controls (no number keys) are included, which I need for operator control of the TV!
A little tip: If you have a Aelters TV model from Samsung or prefer to connect via an optical cable, then try the IR blaster out (controlling external devices) by Samsung, vllt. works controlling with the TV remote condition!
Otherwise, the connection works with iPad or iPhone via Bluetooth without any problems.
------ ------ Sound quality

Room type: living room with sloping ceilings
The subwoofer is the right of the sideboard on the ground and has a distance from the sound ca.1,20m bar. The sound beams on the shelf about 30 cm below the TV. Because of the lack of space and the cross feet, I could not put right in front of the sound beam. Nevertheless, the tone comes across well and without any errors!
During normal watch TV with the sound of the Soundbar worlds was better than my TV! The voices were not drowned out by the background music and you could understand the voices clearly.
When I had a look at Bluray's, I felt at home as in a small cinema. I can not say exactly which tracks to play from the Soundbar and which are not. But I have tested a lot of movies and it was really amazing! One can also pick and choose different surround programs, which simulates a virtual surround. This gets the Soundbar but not really there!
The sound for this price range is really good!
