Small stick, big effect

Yesterday I had made my first test drive with the Car A100 Stick together with our Mazda 6 GH. The stick is activated using the single button on the small portion and paired instantly with the HTC One X in the Car mode. It really only took seconds. There were no adjustments needed except in Car Mode from the smartphone to mark the stick appears there as a music source output for the first time.

Super is that the HTC One X is still connects parallel to stick with the Bluetooth hands-free from the car. In order for the drive can play music and when a call comes in, the car handsfree on to. That is probably but rather a feature of the HTC One X. However, it should be mentioned here, since the Funkionalität of sticks perfectly cooperates with a car handsfree and you do not have to decide whether the smart phone now with the stick or the car handsfree to be paired. It's both! For me a clear reason to buy, because I was sure before buying not know if that really work that way.

The battery seems to be good to reach. During several hours of journey there were no problems and the small LED also indicates not that the battery is close to its end. But according to instructions of the stick loads in approximately 2 hours.

The Soundqaualität is very good, in my opinion, than the cable that was even partly better yet in use. There were no dropouts during transmission.

Despite all the adulation I have to criticize a design flaw which, as such, but does not justify a deduction of points for me. The 3.5mm plug disappears - as you can see in the picture - under a cap. The cap can be but when the stick is plugged into the socket, do not attach the other end of the stick. So that part is rattling through the tray in the center armrest. You could attach the adapter to a lanyard, what probably the opening in the cap is intended. Here you certainly could make the cap so that it can be plugged into the USB end, because not everyone will probably invite the stick in the car permanently via USB. I'm sometimes assume that the cap will disappear sometime in the depths of our cars.

So now I'm just waiting for the car holder for the HTC One X and then the cable clutter in the car is fully eliminated. In any case, you will reap the stick of the passengers astonished looks. My wife thinking today how suddenly the music playing from your phone in the car without any cable. Engineering marvel !!! :-)
