The Logilink mini AP router was the ideal device for my needs for me. Mainly is because it is very compact and lightweight. It has a variety of operation. Switch between AP, Client + AP (Repeater), WDS + AP, WISP + router (repeater) and wireless router succeed simply by pressing a button.
As negative I would note the following aspects:
* Non-technical or people that are are not familiar with networks and computers the instructions supplied view as needy. The necessary installation descriptions are partly not sufficiently detailed. This setting of the device is not particularly easy. But I must confess that I'm spoiled by the Fritz devices I home stationary intervened with me.
* The WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) push-button is not working. I've tried it both with a Netgear router and FWG114P with a Fritz box 7270. Both times it did not work out. Whether this was caused by incompatibility with the other two brands are not known to me. However, since you can set the machine without WPS and connect to another router, this was not a problem for me.
* The range I would describe as acceptable. Once a concrete ceiling between the router and laptop is present, the signal strength suffers much from it. I had found the signal strength improves when the router up and placed far away from (Metallic) the obstacles. Because as I said mainly use this router in a hotel room, but signal strength is not a limitation for me.
All in all, I am personally very pleased with the purchase of this mini router. I would buy the equipment with the mentioned restrictions readily again since it is fully suitable for my purposes.
There are departures for the somewhat awkward user interface and limited reach. Therefore only 3 stars.
