What could be more annoying than a smoke alarm, the battery is empty? Since these things are required, it will beep every few months and although ohrenbetörend us stress triggering. Horrible ... I just recently researched long (Rauchmeldertest_net) which batteries are probably the most durable. And I was only aware of the fact that you can not feed every smoke detector with lithium batteries since they have a larger cache voltage. This alkali (contrary to the product description) is here so no Lithium battery. (Lithium should be informed in advance whether they are permitted. For lithium are also more durable but also more expensive.)
My experience, it certainly will not regret at least at home to have a 9V battery in stock to fit a smoke alarm immediately.
I have now installed this battery and provided with a small post-it, when it was built, so can only * sometime * (hopefully it will take longer) which tell you how long they will do their duty in a smoke detector.
10 years Storage is a nice promise, but seems somewhat questionable if I would ever keep so long ...
