So far the best variant of the blue INTENSO RAINBOW LINE 4GB USB flash drive

I bought in recent days at two different providers such Sticks (At Amazon, they were unfortunately rationed with 10 pieces per customer, but I wanted to have 20).
And I've found that you do not always get the same thing under the same Intenso article number.
I do not take the time to measure the two versions present me with test software, but I tested both versions, by writing 332 image files together 166 MB on the stick.
And I came to a startling result:

First, one of the not purchased from Amazon Sticks:

The Stick is bright blue and heavily frosted. The printed circuit board extends to the rear end, with the result that the light of the light-emitting diode is irradiated only to one side. That is not necessarily a problem, but serves it sticks to (the Amazon) differ from the much better.

According to "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool", the firmware of this stick is 8:07
The detection takes a long time and the writing process (332 files - Total 166MB) lasts a full 122 seconds.
I still have a copy tested. Was equal to 2 or 3 seconds.

I then two of the 10 in Amazon PURCHASED STICKS unpacked and the same test performed.

These sticks do not just completely different than the another dealer acquired, they are also much faster.
WHY THE 5 STAR.
The housing of this model is much more transparent and characterized by a wonderful satin finish.
The circuit board inside is shorter, with the result that the lighting is nicely directed backwards and can be almost equally well seen from both sides.
The firmware of these sticks (bought 10 pieces in June 2014 at Amazon) is 1:00.
I was amazed when I infected the first copy. Not only the connection process went much faster.
No, even the writing of my 332 files - 166 MB was over after just 53 seconds.

In reading both types were equally fast (12 seconds my test files).

I then tested other USB sticks of different brands, of which I know you after a few days to lose data and are also incredibly slow.
They all have the firmware version 8:07.
On the other hand I got 10 red 2GB sticks with firmware 1.00 or possession in which I have never found an unreadable image or incorrect MP3 file. On one of them is music already more than two years.
One wonders as consumers already what a development actually used if the model with firmware 1.00 or already works perfectly, the higher version numbers per se but not nearly as good.

THEREFORE 5 STARS AND THANK YOU AMAZON FOR WELL OLDER BUT VERY VERY GOOD, FAST AND ESPECIALLY CHEAP INTENSO RAINBOW LINE 4GB USB STICKS with firmware 1:00!
