The receiver is operated together with a 2 year old 42 inch Panasonic plasma TV, the Viera Link version may be outdated while on the TV, but it works perfectly with the receiver. Smarter side effect: a remote control is no longer needed. The sound is reproduced on a home cinema system from Samsung, currently the receiver via HDMI is connected to the TV, the sound goes through the optical output for HC-conditioning, also the HC system is still connected via HDMI to the TV ( HC system has a BlueRay player integrated). The picture is amazing. The receiver converts the signal into 1080p 1080i cable to (Deinterlacing), thereby again ensteht better image sharpness and contrast enhancement. Day by day I am more and more convinced of the receiver! Meanwhile, I've found out that one can very well copy recordings from the hard disk of the receiver to your PC! A prerequisite for this is that the recording is decrypted on the one hand is stored in the receiver and no HD + -Restriktionen by the transmitter are present (such as time-limited playback, copy, daily organizer). The recording can then be edited on the PC easily. The receiver stores the recordings in the direct recording method (ie no Umkonvertierung during recording) as TTS from a media format that is recognized by the VLC player easily. The video editing function of the receiver can also convince, so can be cut out frame accurate with supporting autoamtischen chapter Function blocks of commercials and set the start and end points properly. Furthermore, there is a function, all the sub-blocks (one or more) from the recording to delete what's going pretty easy. So you can easily cut the recording deal on the receiver and then copy it to denm PC to there then possibly to burn the recording onto CD / DVD. However, you need to copy a little patience, the 100Mbit network connection slows a bit as if for a 45 minute HD Recording 3 - 3.5 GB to be transmitted.
Furthermore Miracast works without problems.
