... I had under my fingers. This does not mean that it is generally quiet as a Rubber Dome or Scissor keyboard. However, you can feel at every keystroke - just like when lifting the MX-boards - the high quality of the MX Red switches and the surrounding housing. The latter is not self-evident at the "real" Cherrys. I am thinking only of the G80, where you can recover from the housing under creaky movements. This is the MX-board 3.0 is not possible except with the crudest violence. The flat key caps change the way anything on Anschlagweg the installed Red Cherry MX switches, take the keyboard very well but the clanking higher caps such as in the Steel 6Gv2. one has - also thanks to the integrated metal plate - only the bottom-out clacking down the incident Caps. I am writing this review on the MX-board and can understand maybe why the MX Red more spelling errors are attributed as another switch variants: Have previously typed on an Illuminated and realize that I am now in follow-up of this statement not so many mistakes (often Shift not pressed right) had as before. So I can not think of migration Scissor Keys -> mechanical keyboard not difficult, conversely I would probably not want to have. Only the feed stream leaves a safer write. How do the Reds during FPS gaming, I will supply later, when I hope times get in the coming days to do so. Guess, which is also an improvement because the Reds known to be very well suited for rapid multiple actuations. There are, incidentally, built under the following five key caps MX switches with LED: - Both Win keys - Caps Lock - Roles - NUM Lock Thus, one has no annoying LED keyboard in the upper part but the respective button lights up in a subtle green with function itself. Very good! For lasered cap lettering I can not say anything for a few hours, should already hold a while vs. the printed stuff many Rubber Dome models. Very readable Schriftard, here no experiments were made (as with Razer BlackWidow). Who must necessarily look at the keyboard, you should recognize what even in dim light still, who needs in the dark lighting because it is not familiar to his keyboard, should refrain and lie down twice for a Mecha with full backlighting. ;)
Conclusion: Robust mechanical keyboard with (moderate) less noise than other mecha, stable and instant Case driverless support all functions. Those looking for what Reliable with not so high caps, without lighting and great showmanship, can strike confidently here. It may no longer stop writing, but I find nothing more to a ... except that delivery over okluge has once again folded top.
Addendum 07.17.2013: The keyboard controls via USB not the advertised 14kro but only 6kro, but this should be quite sufficient even hardcore gamers. With USB -> PS2 adapter you can not operate itself. Apparently here Cherry has promised too much, because I come to max Modifiertasten 10kro (number of simultaneous inputs). In [...] this is easy to test. The MX Board 3.0 still retains its 5 stars because it can be excellently write to and play: Who pray tell operated absolutely simultaneously more than 6 buttons? However, the marketing lie of Cherry is not the fine English way ....
