I therefore understand the drive only since 13.03.2009 in operation, that is still too early for a long-term rating, please my rating accordingly.
I use the plate almost every day and stick it here on several different computers to create backups.
In addition, I use the disk as a storage for photos.
So far (as I said, for a month) I have no problems with the board, it does their service reliably, quietly and quickly.
I imagine once the arguments contrasted in tables:
Positives:
+ Robust housing
+ Simple design (a matter of taste, I like it well)
+ Removable rubber protectors
+ Good, safe stand on flat surfaces
+ Unproblematic connection (USB, no comment)
+ Almost noiseless in operation
+ Reliably and quickly
+ Plenty of space (1GB)
+ Moves easily when not in use in standby mode
+ Turns off after logout on "Safely Remove Hardware" independently from
+++ Unbeatable price / performance ratio
Cons:
- Power indicator (blue LED) "back", ie where the terminal is
- No separate on / off switch
The cons are really only Grump points, so there is also report something negative, they fall in my opinion when evaluating completely under the table!
My advice: If your looking for a good, solid 1TB drive for small budget, to beat here! Monday models can you get for a lot of money, I see abrauchen even IBM, Maxtor and Trekstor plates.
Should the board fail your service, I will report here.

Did this board now for almost a year in active use and have not had a single problem with it. Would I buy immediately!
