I had to read this book for my Master's degree in English. I had read the two classics Nineteen-Eighty-Four and Animal Farm before, but I did not know what to expect from the Largely unknown rest of Orwell's novel works. Well, in a nutshell: They're impressive and mature pieces of literature. Keep the Aspidistra Flying is Easily my favorite, Although the rest of the bunch is a great read, too. Definitely worth picking up!
