Simply unpack the unit, insert batteries or an existing standard household power supply with 400 mA and connect 6V. The cuff on the upper arm attach what you do wrong, thanks to the corresponding symbols. One of the two buttons (button 1 for Person A, button 2 for person B). The measurement runs quietly and relatively quickly, the measurement results for blood pressure and pulse appear clear and readable on the large display. With the push of a button off, finished. The device stores up to 60 measurement results automatically.
My highlight:
compared to other devices I find particularly well made the cuff, and large enough. It should be enough for the upper arm circumference of 22cm to 32cm according to data. I have an extra remeasured, my upper arm circumference is 36cm and so far the device has reliably responds in all measurements and reported no errors!
My criticisms:
First, the power supply is not provided, what in the rather high price, in my opinion, might have been quiet here. Secondly, the advertised app adds value only for Apple users. The Android app is indeed announced, for me still the question arises, if I want to share my blood pressure through social networking sites, e-mails and Co.. My unrepresentative small survey among friends found that the PSU usefully appear as an app with a sphygmomanometer.
My Conclusion:
Ade BPM 1401 is a high quality, good and easy to use blood pressure monitor with a cuff qualitative and reliable measurement. Despite fewer criticisms I can recommend the device further, especially for those who depend on reliable measurements or have had bad experiences with cheap equipment. And for all non-Apple users I would wait for its Android app.
