Short the pros and cons at a glance:
+ Very stable and torsion-resistant (perfect for my 26 monitor)
+ Good workmanship
+ Easy (and extremely far) swiveling
- Tendency very awkward set
- Built-in cable management for more than 1 cable unsuitable
Does not include tools for adjusting the inclination -
- Screws for fixing the monitor too long
In detail I go now to the individual points and describe my opinion.
Workmanship:
The bracket is very well made. All surfaces are beautifully painted evenly and for the profiles are sealing plugs with it. Moreover, the construction is extremely stable. For my monitor that was more than adequate. I have a good feeling about it, if he hangs on the wall. So you have nothing to worry about that here bends an arm.
Assembly:
Included are 3 screws (Phillips) for wall mounting, including dowels and 8 screws to monitor fixation (4x long and 4x slightly shorter). Otherwise I think were a few spacers and so something there, but I do not remember exactly, because I've already put on the shelves the other stuff.
The Monti Rosh screws (also short) were much too long for me. Even with spacer I could not use. Fortunately, the screws have passed, I have removed the original foot.
For Wandverschraubung I did not use the enclosed screws. Whoever takes for since Phillips please! How do you attract the reasonable? Not the point. I took 6-head screws that holds bombproof. Is intelligently solved that the 3 mounting points are fitted with slots. So you can clean the monitor align horizontally, even if the holes do not fit all.
The adjustment of the inclination, however, is solved clumsy. These 4 nuts must be easily solved, and then the monitor is held in the desired position. Alone hardly handlebar, as you should already be in pairs. In addition, the entire system springs a little, if it is felt that the inclination is adjusted optimally and tightening, but then the monitor hangs back a little too far down. But since you actually have to make once the tilt adjustment is manageable. The appropriate wrench to the way we not supplied, something you have but usually at home anyway.
The cable I have secured with cable ties. That was much easier than with the supplied cradle. The I did not like. With cable tie looks all the same much safer (see pictures)
Terms:
By splitting into two arms can monitor very easy and extremely swing far. I think that's great. So you can adjust it perfectly to the workplace or even turn times quickly if you want to show someone something. Nor can the whole arm nicely folded. According to the information on the drawing then stands the mounting plate away only 55mm from the wall. That's really good. We have limited space on your desk and the original monitor stand was the minimum distance to the wall at about 120mm. Thus clearly what could be saved of course. In addition, the keyboard can now be stored directly under the monitor when not in use. This creates space on the desk.
Conclusion:
For my needs, the wall mount is a clean solution. The Monitor sits firmly on the wall and is fast and flexible rotation. The monitor stand can be annoying way. Who has a little tool and a few 6-socket screws at home, which will be very pleased with the wall bracket itself. I would buy me back. 4 stars are justified in my opinion.
