Anticipating a help to choose between S2711 and S2722: the S2711 has only a small mounting plate to VESA 100 x 100, the S2722 has such to VESA 200 x 200. For my 24 monitor, I decided for the smaller version and was the well as the larger disk would visually and technically (ventilation) is not fitted.
I have attached the monitor mount with a wedge on a sloping ceiling and the enclosed screws in solid wood (without problems) so I can not comment on the dowels. For me the monitor hangs straight in any position would imagine that it is particularly important to align the bracket accurately vertically! It also seems logical that apply to the monitor as flat as possible against the wall, the two arms must be aligned parallel but which I see no disadvantage.
Emphasized the very graphic made installation and operating instructions is in is even stated metaphorically as the water level can be read! However strange that no reference to the manufacturer are available both on the packaging and in the manual.
Conclusion: Both what the value for money as well as the functionality and the optics relates to an absolute buy recommendation!
