The sound is very balanced transparent, the last Bass missing, but that is inevitable in the open construction. The special Tesla technology is probably mainly marketing.
Weak points: the ear pads made of microfibre (otherwise are leather or velvet usual), feel quite hard on and squeak at temples. The non-changeable one-sided cable is quite stiff, making together with the plug a little cheap impression.
The headband is well padded and the pressure is fine.
Made in Germany, it is the high price just fine, including padded carrying bag made of synthetic leather, see photo.
As an alternative now comparable in price, I recommend Sony's top model Sony MDR-Z7 High Resolution headphones with 70mm high definition driver units black, which offers even more space and especially more bass if it may be a closed KH.
