This is my Eindruch after two weeks Garmin:
+ Large display
+ Includes maps for almost all of Europe
+ Up to 4 map updates per year free of charge either 30 years or until the card format is set
+ Fast route calculation and quick recalculation if you've caught the wrong turn
+ Easy to use the basic functions
+ Advanced Lane Guidance and 3D Junction View
+ Possibility to choose the route with the optimum fuel consumption
+ Optional download of radar information
+ Possibility of personalization (eg download of vehicles, recording own voices for the announcement)
Integrated Bluetooth +
- Display could be sharper and resolve higher
- Unfriendly female TTS voice (I was spoiled by my old Becker Navi)
- When speed warning no tolerance can be adjusted.
- Maximum volume could be higher, with loud background noise is difficult to hear the voice
Room for improvement is still enough available, Allerding also available on competitive products are not perfect. I would give the device 4 stars, the fifth star I forgive because of the free map updates. Whether the update will actually be 30 years possible, in my opinion does not matter anyway because hardly anyone has an electrical appliance so long in operation, and it is questionable whether the hardware lasts as long.
