The new Krups is now also on a sideboard in the living room for use.
Positives:
+ The small version definitely has its raison d'etre, is drunk but mostly a small espresso, and more rarely a latte with steamed milk
+ Convincing insofar as the compact Inissia (as well as the Pixie) with its design and ease of use
+ The result of all machine similarly good just Nespresso level
+ The capsules are very easy to insert (at the old Lattissima sometimes it needs more power)
+ Pleasing I of easy to use rear water tank (in the old Lattissima is the system with the water drawer unsatisfactory)
+ Also the waiting time at power is about 25 sec. Considerably lower than in the big Lattissima
+ Auto shut-off is also a special treat, instantaneous opening one forgets otherwise too often
+ The Welcome Pack with 16 capsules is a fine thing, since even the novice can get started immediately Nespresso.
Neutral:
o Design is always a matter of taste, but Pixie's Krups DeLonghi and are in our opinion chic / elegant.
Negatives:
- The separate power button on the Pixie's makes operation even logical
- Also you miss the water level detection (why omission when the inner life but eh is the same?)
- As Nespresso connoisseur of course you need a user manual, but is included here with their language mix and their puzzle images impudence!
Tip: the Nespresso Aeroccino milk frother is the ideal complement to the small Nespresso machine, and also makes a lot less work than, say, to use the Milchschäumerfunktion the latissima!
CONCLUSION: a solid little Nespresso machine, the brewing espresso and lungo makes them as good as everyone else. But an instant star deduction compared to Pixie (see the negative points), and also in optics scores the Pixie. In sum but solid 4 stars.
