It can be relatively easy to "fix" by first leading the rubber band on the seatback, then inside out the terms on the headboard and ultimately spans the entire seating area. The artificial leather is from the very beginning odorless and easy to clean when soiled (damp cloth).
The only drawback:
The product description "universal interface fits all seats" is somewhat misleading, as the seat cover While smaller seats all around protection, larger seats - such as my Passat Variants - but only in the area covered.
Conclusion: Good value for money!
