- White was the wrong decision ,. When you unpack the device sees it better than me, but you will not see how my touchpad looks after one month (no, I have no dirty fingers, but I wash my front Netbookbenutzung not always hands with plain soap)
- The desktop background is not easy to change from Win7 Starter out so! The background image itself is ok but, say, you may also be so. If necessary, There are additional programs that can help here (EEEPC_StarterBackgroundChanger_V081), I have read.
- The plug of the charger has been miniaturized, here I wonder when I bent it the first time
- Most bothers me currently the the R11CX with me from time to time for a minute or so freezing that remains hanging until it then continues as if nothing had happened. I guess that has to do with the measly 1GB Memory that but then at some point not enough for the system.
Conclusion
The netbook from Asus does the job. Se good performance and features, but its price is naturally adapted. I had before a Asus EeePC Subnotebook S5000, which was in its time, 7 years ago, a flagship of Asus and with whom I "have remained in business" accordingly long. This one will not last as long, I guess. But each will be quite clear that these netbooks were not trimmed in its market segment to life / performance time.
Does the battery life with scarce four hours I think also sufficiently specified by the manufacturer, Express Gate I looked at times, but it was used for the fast instant on no more detail.
Finally, the question of questions:
Would I buy this thing again?
Yes, but not in White

Update 08/01/2013
So I have this thing for a year now in operation and a week ago my opinion on the EeePC and Asus has been revised.
When the unit has become conditioned by the work with him a little warmer, fall the characters a, s, d, k, i, m and. out. No reaction to keystroke neither win7 still under my test Linux system that I have been playing for. Yes, and the warranty has expired (1 year), I'm just about 20 days about it.
An output at the price we must save but the quality should be at least a little better ... so I expect less than 5 years' maturity, but 1 is definitely not enough. I am disappointed, my father has now 3 year old Medion Netbook and still runs. That was my last Asus.
Would I buy this thing again?
No of course not
Therefore, four back at a star
