As a brief summary we can say: The receiver has a very good dynamic sound and get me the full purchase recommendation.
To my way to this receiver I wrote in my review of my other candidates Denon AVR-X1100W enough, so I will confine myself here to the functions of this receiver.
Delivery by Amazon worked unfortunately not very good. Despite Prime I had to wait more than a week on the receiver.
Connecting and setting up the receiver worked well because of the imaged Quick Start Guide.
After that I have been playing first the current firmware. The Setup Wizard and the receiver's menu looks a bit dowdy. Here the Denon scores with a more modern interface. Functionally, there are however no restrictions. The web interface is rather useless in its current state. Here can be made not really settings. The iPhone / iPad App Yamaha helps here the operation much easier to make, although this is not always intuitive. But unlike the Denon app to work fine. The calibration of the boxes worked very well in my environment and I am with the dynamic sound experience particularly in action movies very satisfied. The receiver is located in the HDMI area as omnivores represents and makes none of the connected systems of my problems (Blu-Ray Player, AppleTv, Mac Mini, XBOX 360, WiiU, Telekom Entertain-receiver). The sound is a flash properly decoded and played back powerfully.
Air-Play to work without any restrictions (even for hours).
Spotify Connect can be with the iPhone and Spotify app also used without any problems.
The remote control is well structured and has a good tactile feedback.
All in all I'm very happy with the receiver.
