Why do I still forgive only four stars? Four criticisms, each giving one third star deduction:
* It is noisy - the risers rustle quite noisy on the back of the pack, if you have it in your hand. It sounds somehow like rustling, crumpled paper. Even with the back ventilation is also quieter, at least my normal Deuter Backpack is quieter.
* The plastic / rain protection cover of the small zipper pockets is pretty cheap looking, smooth high-gloss plastic. While this is functional, but does not match the other excellent quality impression of the backpack - it acts like a foreign body. And the other rain covers tend to get caught in the zipper. The Deuter has better hingekriegt, but establish the just no photo-backpacks and are here not an option. As I said function seems to fit, only the perceived quality is suboptimal.
* Delivery time: The backpack was in stock, has been sent anyway after a few days. Sorry, Amazon, the sooner you could be better, before you wanted to push Prime.
* Place / Extensibility: The backpack has loops for some of the Tamrac accessories system, nicely labeled clean so that you know what can be mounted where. For example, the SPX 777 Side Pocket bags, so that a larger soda bottle or another can be taken, which is not a photo equipment. Only the side pockets are indeed advertised big, but they are there really only to astronomical prices, more expensive than the actual backpack (189 euros, while the backpack will cost 166 euros? Hello?). A demand for Tamrac in the US has rapidly provided the answer that the SPX777 have been set. Only make your mouth water and then can not deliver? That's not at all times. On the list remains a photo dealer, I have found a couple of side pockets at a reasonable price, making it the essential backpack for everyday use because it is no longer confined to photo equipment. When the bags had not been advertised on the backpack, I would have said anything, but as there's again one-third point deduction.
Just a note to the place, but without penalty, as described as follows: The deposits are stiff and are high enough for the Nikon D7100 battery grip together; even a full-frame camera should fit in easily. But because he is also very bulky and are not after - the external dimensions are consistent, like a suitcase. If no real gripe - but if it were one centimeter higher or at least stretchable, would also be a 15 "MacBook still fit in so it is about clear: It is only for notebooks up to about 14.." Touted, but still a pity. But he sticks to the usual limits on aircraft hand luggage, even though he is working mightily.
So no major criticisms - Value for money is great if you are looking for a pure photo backpack, in which everything can be stored, what I just did to photographic equipment - but just a few little things that have tarnished the "shopping experience". If that is not important or who possibly long the smaller side pockets optional: strong buy recommendation. He is a durable backpack with plenty of storage space, which should protect the camera equipment for many years well.
