After a bad buy at another department store I had decided after careful search for this shoe, mainly for the reason that the price and quality seemed to be in a balanced relationship. This assumption has to use four times and confirmed so far after about three. In the picture, the upper material looks a bit cheap and prone, but has the first acid test already survived (on foot in the storm damaged the undergrowth with shouldered wheel). Due to the relatively large surface areas with fabric-upper but I can attest limited year-round usability this shoe. At temperatures in the single digits, it attracts by strong, so that one hardly comes around to wearing a shoe over during the transition period, if you do not want to freeze. Deductions also in the lace, the large loads - so strong lashing - in the long term should not be grown.
For moderate loads, thus more of a "cycling" in ATB wheels of the shoe seems suitable. For permanent larger loads over difficult terrain, with fresh temperatures and tight lacing the quality of the material in the long term may not be enough. For the price but actually fine where similar cycling shoes can easily cost twice or three times.
