Strengths:
+ Small footprint
+ Light weight
+ Functions directly by pressing a button on the device
+ Powered via USB
Weaknesses:
- Noise at work
- Time from the start of the scan to image in the user software.
- Z-lid only for thinner books / magazines
- Driver software
Compared to the old unit of OA LiDE 100 does not scan really quickly, although operated on USB 2.0. The preview even takes longer
as the "old". The biggest shortcoming is the usability driver software. The Anwenungsprogramme of the CD I have not installed, since I use other graphics programs, take over the data from the scanner.
Conclusion:
For this price a decent device provides good scans.
The deduction is available for the operation of the driver software.
That's worse than the 12 year old from Mustek.
Who here and there a document (or photo) scans, copies, mail or
Faxing want, which is with this space-saving device only via USB
Cable is connected, really well served.
