To be improved:
- Keypad (can be problematic to write SMSs with one hand)
- More themes and better ringtones and alerts (quite dull and very limited choice on the phone)
- Almost Useless Instruction Manual: EC no mention on how the light sensor works, about the usage of the autofocus function of the camera, confusing
- Night Mode can not be set if flash is set to automatic or on (need to turn it off and * then * Night Mode can be enabled)
- Not possible to avoid taking a picture if the camera hasnt properly focused (Autofocus functions on decribed not at all in User Manual ...; so there might be a way but it is not clear how)
- Motion sensor is not sensitive enough: Double-touch sometimes does not work - depends on where the phone is lying - table, stack of paper, book, etc.
- Motion sensor does not work to go into landscape mode with camera or web browser (a real pity); Not Explained in the User Manual CLEARLY What the sensor can do
- Secondary camera (VGA res?) Can not be used to take self-portraits: it can be used apparently only for video phone calls, though not * at all * Mentioned in the user manual; A waste
- Available in Germany only in blue (why?); orange (very nice) and purple available elsewhere and can be seen on Nokia website
Note for Mac Users (version 10.5): iSync does not work natively with this phone, as well the Nokia Multimedia Transfer (NMT) program; you need to download a free plugin That Can Be found on the internet with a simple search; Bluetooth instead works immediately without problems; not clear if the software update will work with the NMT or a Windows PC is Necessary
