I have long been looking for a good game Motocross. I still remember games like "Moto Racer" or "Supercross 2000 'to name just two times for a number of good Motocross games. All long ago, on the PS2 there was very little really significant games in this genre and the PS3 is certainly a really good game to provide enough potential to bounce back. After several violent acts disappointment "MX vs. ATV Reflex" as the light at the end of the tunnel for me, a successful motocross game with a few quirks. The career mode provide sufficient variety and the range of vehicles is nice. But here I would like to attach to the first point of criticism. It seems to me as if the developers mostly "screwed" in the control of the motorcycle. The remaining vehicles are traveling to some very strange that physics is sometimes on holiday and there is no real feeling for the vehicle. The control in all vehicles would have been a little softer and direct also in the bike. It is not uncommon that you "hang" with the smaller vehicles in small depressions remains and the vehicle rotates once in one direction or overturns. What have the cars please a suspension and independent suspension, which can put away more surely, without which one loses control. Only the Sport Buggy has a very pleasant and as far as one can judge the ever realistic control. My second gripe, aside from the often-mentioned spongy textures, details of large open maps are everything seemed very rough and chunky, from time to time can be found on the large maps a lake or a graphically loveless waterfall, that was it already , The other routes, however, are well designed (Details) even if the graphics a bit also acts here roughly and chunky. Likewise, gross is the damage model. But despite all the criticism makes the game a lot of fun and is a nice breakaway from FPS games, football and standard racing games. The three big cards you played relatively fast-and it makes mad mood after jumps to seek and to climb mountains. Also for individualists has much to offer the game, not only are the vehicles and drivers in great detail, they can be change from the rims to handle protection, helmet, suspension, etc. It tinkers his dream bike and off they go into the field. So my conclusion:
- Spongy textures - Hard control - Coarse and unloving details or graphics except for vehicles - Equally coarse damage model
+ Vehicle details + Open map + Change + Tuning and styling + Freestyle Events + A good start ;-)
