I have been given recently a Samsung CLP300 and had to decide between throwing away, disassemble or reusing it. The Samsung CLP300 is really nothing special but I set a laser printer like because of their usually fade-resistant and waterproof expression for label printing, so I thought for the price you can risk it even once.
After inserting the ms-point toner cartridges in my Samsung CLP300 unfortunately nothing has first work, the cartridges were simply not recognized. I wanted to wrap up the toner again and send it back because I have again looked at the chips on the toner cartridges specifically, these are secured with a double-sided adhesive foam tape on the cartridges. Only after I had the chips away and then clean again and this time just glued the cartridges were properly detected. For me as a hobbyist a trifle, (about 1 minute per cartridge expenses) to other users but may be a "show-stopper"!
Printed but has the printer still does not, an Internet research revealed that it was probably due to the waste toner container.
Note:
In everything to do with toner has never please use a "normal" vacuum cleaner, which is always a giant mess!
The toner is so fine that it goes through each bag and air filter through. Few industrial vacuum cleaner to deal with toner, if possibly. Ash vacuum are good enough I've not tested it and to buy a special toner vacuum cleaner so far I could not bring myself so hand was announced.
I've put disposable gloves, put the waste toner container in a large, clear plastic bag and then turned from the outside so long and shaken until the waste toner container was largely empty. After that I did the waste toner container is cleaned from the outside with a damp cloth and plastic optics briefly wiped inside the tank with a cotton swab (level detection of the waste toner container on light barrier). After replacing the waste toner container of the Samsung CLP300 printed again with relatively decent quality.
Often one has after insertion of new (compatible) toner cartridges a sense of achievement that it is simply that the printer will print again. The problems come a little later, when one has printed several pages and the new toner begins to mix behind the toner rollers with the old toner remaining in the feed chamber, until the streaks and water marks occur in the printout. One would therefore ever 200 pages or more print to be reasonably sure that the new toner is any good. I've printed so far only 70 color pages with no complaints, so it can not make any definitive statement about the quality of "ms-point Multipack" -Toners for the Samsung CLP300, when the quality, however, remains as now I would buy the toner again ,
