positive:

- Built-in viewfinder, useful in bright sunlight on the reflective display
- Practical folding screen

- The menus are easy; are self-explanatory
- Very good image quality with lots of details, even with the extended zoom lens

- Surprisingly good sound quality of the video (wind noise reduction is also possible)
- Impressive optical zoom, even the digital zoom provides up to 60x zoom and a surprisingly good picture quality
- Excellent screen stabilizer
- Interestingly Panorama mode (to rule provides for landscapes at)
- Settings such as Blende- and shutter speed can be adjusted manually (up to 30 seconds)
- Artistic interesting recording options, such as through the miniature effect, the partial color effect (black and white image with an extracted color (red, green, blue or yellow), the Illustration- and watercolor effect
- Smart Auto mode selects not only the appropriate scene mode automatically; here can also keystroke another be called under mode that allows the absolute amateur secure and beginner-friendly, just bestpassendste manually change the brightness, color and vividness of the picture, and quick recall the image effect modes,
negative:
- Quality of the electronic viewfinder is insufficient
- When Panorama mode it can quickly lead to distortions and dislocations in the image in the images at the highest resolution selectable
- LCD display turns on by a light sensor automatically when the viewfinder is used. The light sensor is, however, very sensitive, so that the display sometimes undesirably off short when the Viewfinder eg relatively close is in the unfolded display on the body
- Lens cap the camera jumps in connection of the device does not automatically, but jammed and instead has to be removed manually from there
Other:
- In the camera a very good manual is integrated
- The zoom can be operated in two ways (directly on the lens, or at the upper end of the handle of the camera)
- Manual focus is possible (even in movies, with this providing a tripod)
- Continuous shooting at up to 10 frames / second are possible, then they must be processed shortly in the camera, which takes a little time to complete
-. When shooting with self-timer, for example, can be set that is taken after the detection of 1 or 2 faces.
- You can set the camera to detect a smile automatically triggers
- The camera also 3D images are possible
- 3D images using camera movements that can easily change the viewing angle on the object to be viewed directly on the display
- A GPS receiver can be turned on, whereby the location of the pictures taken will be available
Should you decide to buy the Sony HX200v, I recommend especially the HDR mode, which is ideal for images with high contrast differences, as well as the Hand-held Twilight mode, which I have already mentioned. Both modes are distinguished in that they make several images in quick succession, and then put this one above the other, which usually very good image results in the exposure and noise reduction can be achieved.
I purchased the camera incidentally without additional battery and this not regret it. The remaining end of battery life is displayed and for me was always sufficient. The spare battery will only need if you use the camera in a short time very intense.
The battery can also be recharged by the way a laptop (that required for this cable is supplied).
