not least because of your (laudatory) reports also I am since yesterday the proud owner of this player. Therefore I want to give 2 Comments sporadic here disadvantages of Sony:
1. Comment: no delete files directly from the player possible
In the section "Podcast" (the main menu of the player and of course according to the folder structure on the connected PC so divided in "podcast" and "music") you can delete individual files on the Options button
2. Comment: charge with external USB charger impossible
Sony used (unfortunately) a procedure that requires a special return signal from the charger. Even my fairly new Hama chargers can not offer this. As a rule of thumb when buying you can probably use the charger must be suitable iPod: Apple and Sony are using the same procedure.
