My reasons for buying / Benefits:
- Inexpensive (Special)
- Good processing / metal housing + Cases
- Easy to read display (despite the relatively small size / can be switched to horizontal view)
- Handy format (dimensions ideal for traveling)
- Easy operation (without touchscreen)
- Sufficient memory (500 MB - 350 books acc.Manufacturer.)
- Elegant look
- Long battery life (according to the manufacturer.)
- 3-fold magnification font (usually quite sufficient)
Disadvantages:
- No memory possible
- Equipment (only USB cable for charging / separate charger will cost EUR 10 extra)
- Limited features (no marking function, no WiFi, no MP3 player ...)
- A display of 4 - documents / literature (pdf format) is not optimal (display too small)
Conclusion:
If you want to use the device primarily for reading novels and looking for a small, handy device on the go without a lot of frills, I can only recommend the purchase. The memory is sufficient for standard use. An integrated MP3 player is in my view totally unnecessary (I separately or integrated into the mobile phone), especially since so also reduces the battery life dramatically. Touchscreen would be great, but the functionality is right too. Those who work with technical literature, should the big brother (current model - Sony PRS 650) in my view rather take because it has notes and marking functions, larger display + touch screen).
