Sony PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset - a good buy, but ....

I opted for this headset because it is 1) reasonably well rated, which is also fully justified and 2) is slightly cheaper than other wireless headsets. To what extent the headset with the wireless connection can withstand, I can not judge, I have my PS3 connected to an Ethernet cable, unfortunately. Even that was another reason to buy this headset.

I have now been used a few times to play and have to say the sound really convinced me. I think it's great. Previously had a Bluetooth headset is used, which actually is one of my phone. The quality was moderate, there were often language and failures at all, it was compared to this headset here quite quietly. When Wireless Stereo Headset you can hear not only chat through the headphones but the entire play happening, that has something special in my opinion. The operation of the separate volume controls for chat and sound is a bit strange, but after playing a few times you get the well under control. Noise I have heard until now none.

The comfort of the Wireless Stereo Headset is great, the thing is perfect, not pressed against the ears, is not difficult and very well suppressed background noise.

The pairing with headset and Playstation is easy: Playstation to USB stick in, Headset switch on - ready. If it ever fails to, both parties have a reset button, which is pressed briefly, then it works perfectly again. Just do not forget to change the audio setting of the PS3 input and output device, otherwise it does not work, of course.

Unfortunately there's also 2 points that I did not like, so only 4 stars:

1) In the package was not a charging cable here. The headset can of course go to the same cable, with which you can also charge the controller. But since I anyway have a controller attached to the PS3, bothers me quite. However, I have at home still a lot of other USB cables lying around, so it's no problem for me. But I think that has not be any other cable at home.

2) The headset can be loaded via the USB cable only on the Playstation or PC. If you put one end of the USB cable into an adapter for the power outlet, so the lamp for the charge indicator lights probably briefly, then disappears but again and the headset is also not loaded. Since I now almost always play with headset (also offline without chat, because I just so great to find sound;! I hear things that I did not even know that they exist in the game) I had the Playstation after playing still running leave so that I can charge the headset again, or even run the PC.

My Conclusion:
Anyone looking for a great headset with impressive sound quality, Hammer voice chat quality, great fit and comfort and ease of operation and if necessary also a USB cable has lying around somewhere, which is right here. The problems with the Wi-Fi I would, however, take into account, I could not test it unfortunately. For all other the Wireless Stereo Headset is certainly a great purchase, in which you can actually do anything wrong.
