Sophisticated sound, very good quality

Regarding the establishment of the unit, giving the other reviews already shed - and I can only confirm these impressions. The device is very fast linked with TV, BlueRay player, wireless router, MacBook and iPhone. Large number of connection options. The Marantz app for iPhone & iPad is good - there are little things that are improvable (I hope, as an update comes in time), but all in all this is a convenient control. AirDrop works great. IPhone via USB port on front panel is very convenient, it charges the battery of the iPhone. Pleasant: Beautiful design. And the device is not illuminated like the whole room.

For sound: Have the Marantz after calibration with Audissey both JBL (stereo) and Heco connected (Stereo + Subwoofer) boxes and belongs in the "Pure Direct" mode. When playback sources Onkyo CD player, Philips BlueRay player, who also plays CDs served, and iTunes tracks in lossless and in 128K format. Listened I eg Rickie Lee Jones (dynamics), Cassandra Wilson and Feist (voice), Daft Punk (precision), Gotan Project (many instruments), Donald Fagan (outstanding production), Peter Gabriel (bass), and Cello Suites and Piano by Bach.
