HP has slapped with Leo Apotheker the webOS history lasting, say, buried.
That example (as a card) was originally a product of the webOS community was watching the 'UP-addition-wiper function' of the (same) open apps (during that time (!) IOS not even a true multitasking supported) know that few today as a matter of course to use the selbiges feature on their iOS devices.
Likewise were (then) the swipe gestures a novelty - and a truly innovative addition to the use of mobile devices.
Even the recently discussed pivoting about Open Source is at the dead end in which this mobile OS is now - at least for the mobile phone respectively smartphone history - change anything.
Various software error, no meaningful support. Very unfortunate.
The device itself is promising, really high-quality processed, can be used as "flatterer" with a solid acting slider and a hardware (!) - Keyboard really points.
But what good is it if the OS Software only sporadically and "neglected" (if any) is maintained in the background? The (still existing) community will take my local lines certainly disgusted note; but a round concept for a daily mitzuführendes mobile device sees (me) just different.
Therefore: not really used (without difficulty and a certain degree of masochism).
Regrettably therefore not recommended.
The hardware already, but the "content" it does not tear.
Sooo shame about the webOS.
