1. Packaging and Processing

The screws on the in-ear are made of plastic and make unpleasant noises when turning, it seems to me as if the In-Ear defends itself against the adjust. But joking aside, my feeling is you should not this move too often, because they seem fragile.
Most of all me disturbs the execution of the cord upwards. I can not understand why so many choose manufacturer with more expensive models, the cable outlet upwards understand.
The Sennheiser IE 80 is allowed, as well as its predecessor, not forgetting the obligatory tamper-examination. These models are unfortunately very much falsified and brought mainly in Germany through resellers in circulation. 2. The Sound
Now comes my argument for the initial disappointment. When I had the in-ear the first time used best match with the original essays as I mentioned to me, I first noted the successful conclusion. By that I mean that they cause the ear canal seal well without unpleasant pressure.

This illusion I've been eating that the sound behaves according to the price. Maybe I'm a little influenced by my other headphones. I have large open AKG Q701, however, the in-ear not come on but the field of application is obviously another.
After the first impression I leave them once import about 50 hours. After that the headphones have a lot clearer belongs. The highs are clear and very precise without seeming intrusive. The Bass setting I have left to try for something at a medium setting. Good closure of the bass is provided very strong. However, the bass is a rather dull bass. Unfortunately, I am familiar with the technical terms for not so good, but I try to make it clear with an example. A good bass drums, which in my opinion, strong but should be clearly defined, comes to these headphones not so good effect. The centers are far as I know very well balanced and never turned down sharply this estimate. This gives the sound a certain wealth that clearly lacks cheaper headphones. I also have first compared with favorable in-ear Apple and Shure. In a direct comparison can clearly make out that the Sennheiser are better. But the question is whether they sound so much better and so that a price of 200 is justified. I decided to keep the in-ear. After three weeks, I do not regret my decision, because the benefits of this in-ear one must first learn to listen, and over time you will find more and more like the in-ear. When I once again compare with favorable in-ear reminds me very strongly to the lack of "Impact", unfortunately I do not know how I should otherwise expressions. There is a certain amount of wealth that the other lacks.

In summary, I was convinced of the sound and is worth its price. We deduct for small defects in the processing and Ausführung.Trotzdem a strong buy recommendation from me.
