I can say nothing but good things about the sound of rDAC. There is a huge difference whether you send data in asynchronous USB mode from the PC via a converter to the system - or through the headphone output of a motherboard with Realtek sound chip!
The unit I bought in March, a few days ago, the USB port is defective. After I'm not the only critic with a defective USB port on the Arcam rDAC, the part will probably have a weak point.
I have the equipment sent to Amazon, a processing time of 6 weeks or more has also put me in prospect.
Conclusion: Would buy it again!
