After conversion to IP telephony, the previous router W701V no longer worked. So a new was needed.
Telekom is too expensive, hire out of the question. Amazon had the router in the offer and the best price.
Router unpacked, connected and after entering the T-Online e-mail in the browser to the router configured automatically - Top. The router itself has a fancy case. The LEDs on the front are good to see.
It is handy that the WLAN LED is also a key. Press top and WLAN is disabled, press to activate again.
There are also two USB ports available. You can plug in a USB drive and access the home network from any device on the data. Or connect a USB printer and print from mobile phones to wireless - cool.
The transfer rates are really good. We had DSL 6000 and DSL now 16,000 with four Gigabit network ports.
Now go even Full-HD Youtube videos without any lag.
Wi-Fi reception is excellent. So I can not confirm the negative reviews here.
We live on the 2nd floor and yesterday I had the neighbors on the ground floor full wireless reception with the cell phone by two thick concrete ceilings.
I can only recommend the router.
