I mean "pre-assembled" had returned USB3 disk because housing manufacturers and plate manufacturing had different ideas warranty. The housing manufacturers do not want me to open the housing, but the plate producer offered a firmware update, which contributes to the longevity of the plate, but I have to expand the panel. So get rid of it. Then I got me a WD Green 3TB worried because there should be a medium disc without sustainable access, but always on the PC. In addition I had a USB3 housing ITEC. which was by its very nature quite well, ok a second look wars processed fairly inexpensive, but it worked. Transmission rates all top, but 24/7 continuous operation of the plate then plus beworgen me to get me a decent housing. Once I had to look far (it does not comment too many about automatic spin down), I've made my decision and to date no regrets for the Sharkoon Rapid Case. Panel is fast and after a certain period (no idea the board is behind a desk and I do not want there behind crawling with ner stop watch, but I do sometimes on 10-15Minuten) purrs the plate into a deep sleep. Oh yes: The LED on the front is a great place to unplug on the board. I like that is not Bright peripherals, apart from monitors).
In ITEC case I have a former external USB2 disk transplanted, which is now connected to a regular backup.
