Two relatively large fat balls fit into it and have ranged from mid-November to mid-December. Only after 30 days I had to fill up the station. The station is constructed simply and can be attached by its small to medium size virtually anywhere. With very little wire I could install it on the railing in front of my double windows. The feed is protected fairly well from the rain, but does not fall especially in autumn just always perpendicular to the ground. ;) Even with the stability, there is nothing to complain about, even Buntspechte find a secure hold and may deal with the feeding station a bit coarser.
The networks I let the fat balls off because less food then crumbles to the ground and the birds more / can live off the fat balls longer.
I'll probably eventually even order a second feeding station to hang them in the same place. Observing these little birds (mainly tail, blue and great tits, but also Kleiber, robins and woodpeckers) may well have a relaxing effect, similar to watching an aquarium. :)
