Why the C70-U2:
I mittleweile more and more devices possess that feature a USB interface called and the number of inputs on my PC (and very important to the laptop) is limited, I looked around for a qualitative USB hub and am after a long search find anything.
To my equipment includes two external hard disks, an audio interface for music production and film enjoyment, a webcam, a keyboard and mouse set and other equipment that can now be found in every household. The number to the USB input on the PC is not enough. I have already tried other USB hubs, but those without an external power supply. And I had always dropouts, either in sound, in the data transmission via Bluetooth, or even using the mouse. After I lost by such a mood fluctuation my WINDOWS 7 PC almost my 2 TB data from the external hard drive, it was time to get a good USB hub.
First Impressions:
Appearance:
The HUB was delivered well packed in a small carton. The contents, USB cable for connecting to a PC, power supply, and of course the distribution itself. What the simple but chic design is me immediately noticed the white variety. The design of this device looks even less on my table than it is, it is hardly noticeable. Front: Anschaltknopf, 3 USB inputs, power supply input, USB input for connecting to the PC. Rear 4 USB inputs and an indicator LED. The stand is very convenient, I have fun half tries to push the device with the wrong side in the stand, while the stability is just as well, it does not tilt backwards or sideways.
Handling:
PSU pure, USB cable in and off you go. No drivers are needed. The devices are detected quickly via Plug & Play. The EasyAcc distribution is hardly sounds, what can be expected in part, but is worth mentioning compared to the volume of my external hard drive. The data transfers are fast, I do not have software to determine the bit rate, but a 2GB movie is transmitted within 2-3 minutes from the PC and the phone.
After a few days testing, I had no dropouts, which were common in my hardware.
The voltage supplied through the AC adapter is apparently very decisive in my case.
Conclusion:
It is generally easier to give a star deduction, for something that could be improved, but I have on the device as a whole no complaints. It does what it should.
1 Star Optics
1 Star Number of inputs
1 star functionality and data transfer
1 star housing made of plastic but is well made, very robust.
1 star because it has an on / off button, and no cold-start operation.
