SP: TL is not a war glorifying Dauergeballer but asks uneasy brood formality of war is and the associated mental Beslastung the protagonists. However, this will only gradually visible. In the beginning you're a bit perplexed how high degree of violence is and this is shown uncensored. Story default and also sound technically the parallels to anti-war films like Apocalypse now Platton or are obvious.

The setting, the desert of Dubai, is finally something new and acts demenstsprechend unspent. Unfortunately, the level varies from really chic to just barely acceptable. Just the physics of sand could have been expanded to use more excessive or. For the (few) scenes where the sand plays a major role, are actually used new and exciting. The character models are quite detailed. All in all, does the graphics consistent and atmospheric, even if it's not come up to for example the recently published Ghost Recon Future Soldier and far away from graphic beads as Max Payne 3. The atmosphere is good though. However, the optical power level is not to everyone's taste. Bursting heads, mangled body of explosions, etc. are borderline and definitely not for zartbeseitete and certainly not for small children. Why the game in Germany comes uncut on the market, probably due to the good story that illuminate the horrors of war straight sides towards the end of the game and not create epic glorifies violence.

Sound:

The German language edition is acceptable, but in this respect certainly nothing outstanding. The English dub is there soch much upbeat. The weapons sound sound good and even the ambient sound (eg when a storm rears) sound authentic. What the game but really punktetist music. Who still remember the famous boat scene from Call of Duty: Black Ops reminds knows how strengthens this kind of music can be act a scene. And so here also. The music really creates a cineast Siche atmosphere that is also provided in the legendary (Vietnam) war films. .... I personally find a suitable musical accompaniment as very important to fall under the spell of a game to be here scores Spec Ops: The Line definitely!

Control / Gameplay:

The handling of weapons is good and also the most typical genre commands go well out of hand.
There is nothing that a really overwhelmed. Also commanding the accompanying duo is simple. Press R2, then the opponents brand irish to be switched off with the red triangle. This works mostly good but just not as ingenious as in Ghost Recon Future Soldier. The largest Schwachpuntk is my opinion, but the unripe cover system. Again GRFS has shown how easily and fluently can be designed like that. Although the figure pressed against each object when you stand in front and presses X, but unfortunately funktionier the straight end of the game against more bad than good. I have played the game directly on hard and have died in the last 3-4 chapters countless times really only due to the half-baked cover system. Because if you meet hordes of heavily armored opponents (and sometimes even alone) then should fold even with no problems ... Unfortunately, that is not but so.Wer on easy or normal play is this however not regarded as a major shortcoming. Players are looking for a challenge, however, many times prefer to bite into Joypad ^^ ...

CONCLUSION: All in all you get here for your money what you would expect from a game of this genre. The story is told kino mature and has definitely something different and brings the end of the campaign an interesting story. Even if the control unfortunately so has its quirks, it works for the most part as it should.
The scope is also in order, which of course varies depending on the difficulty. On the level "suicide mission" (the 3 Difficulty of 4, I felt the scope definitely not to be too short. There is in the over 15 section extending Kampage often the opportunity to opt for a "solution" A or B. Thus, So is there also definitely another reason the Kamp Agen play through a second time.
Although the shooter playfully offers nothing new, there is a purchase for friends such games worthwhile nonetheless. Here the German programmers from Yager have created a very solid game with an interesting story and very successful atmosphere, even if you have to say that certainly a lot of potential remained unused. So I would actually awarded 7 out of 10 points, but since I can only be awarded 1-5 stars get the game from me 3 out of 5 stars, but this is really not a bad rating (see full review).
* Multiplayer mode I have not tested because he bicht for me is a concern *
