For a desktop PC or a workstation, this NIC is oversized. Do not buy.
However, when it comes to performance and throughput in the server / storage / virtualization / cloud environment is highly recommended the NIC. We set the NIC in a range tracing. The processor of the network adapter accepts all resulting actions, the CPU of the system is relieved.
