Here one encounters no longer pure a capella singing, but on some strong vocal distortions and effects like reverb or delay. For a capella purists who love only the pure singing without the use of electronic means, this disc is thus rather nothing. For those who want to also open to this form of a capella music, this disc offers many different styles and ways a capella may sound. In the following I will now assess the individual songs on this disk and set out the pros and cons of each tool used:
- Roller Coaster: This song begins to fit without a big, awkward intro and milled so fast in the ear of the listener, the music has this song in the chorus sufficiently much, however, the verses have unfortunately become a bit monotonous. Even the drums have been positively received too little forceful, hence this song loses the chorus unfortunately a bit on the power that he could have. Seen Lyrically this song is passable, but nothing more, so I forgive here 2.5 / 5 stars
- A big thing: probably a content less demanding songs, quite funny and musically quite a catchy tune. Nice that here virtually no effects were used, making it very similar to the song of the live version, 3.5 / 5 stars
- I am as I am: I myself needed something to warm up with the song, but now he is to be on the way to my favorites. A beautiful up-tempo number with level full text prompts each to tolerate in his individuality and respect, here I forgive 4.5 / 5 stars
- The sawmill Bad Segeberg: musically expected the song to some monotony, but there is for the musically educated listeners some interesting harmonic turns, especially in the Bridge. The text is written simply awesome. Thus, I think the song for a successful satire on our advertising. It is a pity that the brilliant end to a Russian-style dance from the live show is not on the CD. 3/5 stars
- An angel: a very beautiful ballad, at this point, the audience relax for the first time after four faster numbers somewhat, fortunately only a few effects were used. 4/5 stars
- Side of the World: From the first hearing one of my favorites, musically completely different than what you previously knew of the Wise Guys. This clearly shows that Nils Olfert was a big win for the band and is, as it brings the third composer new musical colors. Fit the music is the text, or vice versa. 5/5 stars
- Not a good idea: for my taste a typical Wise Guys Song: funny, travel with you and with a beautiful melody, awesome I find the variety of very absurd possibilities to come to death and install the yet relatively realistic options (Putin makes the song for my taste very topical). Too bad I can only find that here at all effects were used because they disturb more than the song enrich, so here 4.5 / 5 stars
- Smile Learning: The tune I like now really good to relax I find it super successful, here I will give 3.5 / 5 stars
- Your view: stands out musically well at first glance the most vocal is the homophone Arrangement here more or less pure a cappella commanded the few reverbs would be better left out, 4.9 / 5 stars
- Generation Hearing Aid: If a slow also to my favorites, the arrangement I find very interesting, stands out in my ears somehow out and the text is quite funny, this song wins through the use of electronic effects, hence 4/5 stars
- Antidepressant: In principle, I like the song very well, on the CD but would not need him, because he was only a year previously published 3/5 stars
- I can only echo the chorus: musically this song was already in the Antidpressivumtour My Favorite, which has not changed in the studio version. Again, I think this arrangement for a great success, which was written by newcomer Andrea Figallo, 5/5 stars
- Everything is so beautifully colorful here: Arguably the best music composition from the main composers Dän which set to music a perfect drug intoxication. Music and lyrics go hand in hand, even here wins the song through greater use of electronic voting changes 5/5 stars
- Kiss me: here I imagined titled something completely different, so in the direction of "I dreamed," nice that this is not the case. I like the melody and jazzy harmonies and also Jasmin Wagner's voice somehow fits well to 4/5 stars
- Grateful for the time: the content probably treated the strongest point of the album, here is the loss of a loved one. Probably therefore run not too often, because it is also the most severe food of the album, but therein lies the strength of the songs. 5/5 stars
- Always there for you: Well the song I had the least used personally on the album, nice to listen to, but does not provide incredible revelation is, therefore, 2.5 / 5 stars
In addition to the normal CD, this Deluxe version a Bonuscd where four live recordings from the Antidepressumtour and four songwriter demos and 4 a capella Demos offers. Additionally, there is the World Cup song Brasil. The live recordings and a capella demo recordings are all succeeded in everything, especially since among the demos are three unreleased songs, which enrich the album. In particular, the composition of multiplex Eddi is a highlight of the CD (I did not even tell more, but the number is great fun). The Deluxe version I hereby recommend, it has some interesting things.
Conclusion: I personally like this album pretty well and I think it is far more successful than the previous album Two Worlds, both musically as well as lyrically and production standpoint. However, everyone should listen in advance, before deciding to buy it, because this album but differs significantly from its predecessors here.
