Still awesome. Still funny. Simply good!

Tom Percival is the illustrator of all ingenious cover this range and it creates easy to create a great, unique and appropriate choice every time there! Kudos for Mr. Percival! ;) The scene on the cover can indeed wait a while to be, but is still very important and does not see the picture again just totally cool? : 3 The series has anyway the coolness factor leased like no other! ; P Inside the bag there as usual small drawings found in front of the chapter, which I think is also every time on New really great ^^

Opinion

Starting in the seventh round it is, if we make the reader a trip to the Kingdom of the Wicked. The introduction to the book is definitely among the allerwitzigsten scenes from the entire series! Alone, when I think back, I can not stop smiling and I think anyway that Derek Landy is unchallenged started with the best humor. His is a Award for it; P

I do not even great, I can still tell what we fans of the series but know anyway: the word disappointment knows Mr. Landy namely not! I bet he could write another 30 books of the series and each of them would abwechslunsgreich, innovative, exciting and funny, because in these things is the book its predecessors again in every way.

The plot focuses this time, with people who possess supernatural powers for some reason and soon the detective eagerly, skulduggery and Valkyrie is hot on the trail on the track. In this book there are several villains and they are all wonderful again very detailed thrown into life and I absolutely credible and well thought out designs equipped. What can not be missing in a Derek Landy book of course, the many action scenes, where our heroes fight for their lives to be tried or is about the destruction of the world. In this volume, more conflicts appear when still in DeathBringer and I found them all told in an exciting and successful.

In my opinion, this book had a really melancholy, thoughtful touch and especially Stephanie or just Valkyrie makes a great development by. She thinks much about her future and sees all the problems with a clear mind and a lot of seriousness and not as relaxed as before, which has much to do with the main story, because something gives her the impetus to reflect on how end their lives soon could. I liked Valkyrie not always, but just like Skulduggery she's just an absolutely complex and profound character that has rough edges and its decisions but can often surprise you. You notice here very clearly that they with their seventeen actually is still very young and there is more to them than the world of magic, they still found so terribly exciting with twelfth.

The relationship between Valkyrie and skulduggery is also deepened sent back and I just can not imagine a better team than these two when it comes to whom one puts the fate of the world in my hands.

Derek Landy intervenes in this book, although some issues, of which one has but read several times, but again, he brings his own touch with and involved a clever intrigue and sinister plans so inscrutable to each other, that allows a frequent time speechless ,

Something that I have yet thought a couple of times was the tape has not exceeded the 7 other volumes. So far, all the parts have still increased somewhat, but this band was just as good as DeathBringer Haha, if you know what I mean xD

We meet in the seventh volume also plenty of old famous and see missing persons addicted again, such as Tanith * sniff * or even Fletcher.

The end of the book was so well really ok, but then came the epilogue and that the wait for the eighth volume will be simply unbearable to stay back with such a nasty cliffhanger, nasty!

Conclusion

A spectacular sequel, one of my top 3 favorite series, with the usual sense of humor, sarcasm and the daredevil tension that only a Derek Landy can offer!
