Yesterday received this razor straight razor with interchangeable blades, delivered on time by Shavingworld in his small cardboard box and accompanied by a box of 100 half-blades Shark (while only 5 blades were provided in the product description) .
The stamped metal construction is correct (an inner plastic spacer: hope that is the thermosetting plastic as the razor is intended to be sterilized in boiling water). The shaver sometimes slightly stuck in his neck but just to loosen the handle. The removable blade is retained in the razor, not causing concern for shaving. In it, the handle does not balance in your wrist and remains the degree of openness where you placed (at least on my copy).
I took this rather than Parker Dovo Shavette or Feather because it is cheaper (in the case of many Feather) and the blade loading system seemed safer to me.
I tested it this morning: no particular problem. Never shaved me being the traditional straight razor or Shavette (I shave in DE (double edge)), I do that a pass in the direction of hair over the entire beard, which has not very effective but at least I did not cut myself. For the effectiveness of my technique, it remains to improve and I will not test the wrong way before being almost comfortable in the grain.
Well, I'm pretty happy with my purchase that allows me for a small fee to test a new technique to improve my shave.
