Stratovarius finally back on track !!!

After I've been the Visions 1997 Fan this combo and I have 3 albums Revolution Renaissance by former band leader Timo Tolkki in my possession. Can I say that after 2 weak albums Stratovarius finally can catch up again.

This powerful new work (well not exactly new, but what is it) contains finally what of one of my favorite power metal bands on the planet await. Although of course it is not a Visions, Episode, Destiny, Invitie or member 1 & 2 album. But nevertheless it leaves the two tired last works "Startovarius" & "Polaris" far very far behind. Namely, finally back swinging the ax. Finally back right breaker such as the opener "Darkest Hours", "Under Flaming Skies" or the brilliant eponymous 18 minutes !!! Piece "Elysium". Class what the guys break the fence there. Clear who the classic "Infinite" liked can not go wrong here.

For me, this album is really a revelation. I like it very well and I admit quite rightly 5 star especially the packaging and the artwork are also super. Only the bonus disc seems a bit unimaginative, the pieces again as demo versions unfortunately I do not need.

But it is sufficient to 5 stars, so now I get sometime next month yet the successor is to still more also mark direction Visions gehen.Also advance!
