Purpose is to maintain the set rel. Humidity at about 58-60% at about 16 degrees room temperature.
At first I was a bit skeptical because of the high nominal power of TTK 100s. To my surprise, TTK shows 100s total significantly more economical than MDF2-20DEN3 (here is the suspicion on malfunction of MDF2-20DEN3 - read more in my review on this device) and preliminary information shows even slightly more economical than WDH-520HB under very similar conditions ,
The reason seems to lie in the high efficiency of Trotec. The unit turns on sporadic and within a short time the air is dried. Then the device switches off. Less powerful devices must run longer and therefore do not consume less power. Or even more if their technique is not as efficient as at Trotec.
About a regulator can be adjusted using an external hygrometer the desired threshold value for the humidity set. The tollerance appears to be about 3 degrees. That is, if 58% are set by regulators, Trotec will start at about 61% and run until 58% is reached. I like that this saves unnecessary switching sequences.
Other than in the manual is TTK 100S is timer-suited. I've let me be confirmed by the service hotline. Even more than in the instructions, and the fan when the threshold is reached is switched off.
The volume corresponds to a strong blow dryer and only engeschränkt living room suitable for my opinion. What is good yet - but at MDF2-20DEN3 produced no Tieftonbrummen. This volume is more comfortable to bear than the weaker unit. The WDH-520HB is a small piece quieter than Trotec.
The Wichtigste- the dehumidification of Trotec is really great. It is extracted from a lot of water, remain unshod window.
The only slight criticism it would be helpful to see from the outside how full the container straight. Otherwise, only the control lamp lights up when it is already too full.
Overall, a highly recommended, efficient device.
