Strong graphics card for acceptable price

As my Gainward GTX 460 defective arrived, I had to opt for a different me shortly. So I took the Palit GTX 460 because it was identical to the values ​​here.
Hardly installed, I realized that it is based in idle on the same volume, as my old 9400GT. Easy, I wondered, until I saw components in the Windows rating:
The value of the 9400GT was 3.1, the value of the GTX 460 now stands at 7.3 of max. 7.9! That alone is a huge profit!
But of course I had to test the good piece also ingame.

First FIFA 11: Then: 1024x768, high, AAx0 - 50-70 FPS
Now: 1280x1024, high, AAx4 - 130-150 FPS

After that Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Then: 1024x768, Medium-Low, AAx0, 30-40 FPS
Now: 1280x1024, Highest, AAx0, 40-50 FPS

And finally with the Crysis Mod Photorealistic: Then: 1024x768: 5-12 FPS
Now: 1280x1024 35-50 FPS

My system:
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
AMD Athlon II X2 250 @ 3,00Ghz (slows down the graphics card a bit)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 1GB
4,00GB RAM
Screen: 17 "at 1280x1024

Unfortunately, the volume did not stop at the, in the Idle state, but grew louder. In Fifa 11, barely audible, in Bad Company 2 already loud and about at Crysis the volume of hairdryers, where is felt hot in the housing. This is but I think more to the fact that my body does not offer a lot of space. But anyway I give for the volume a star deduction.
But all in all a very good gamer graphics card to acceptable price!
