... The top is not "slate", but strongly patterned. Wild gray-brown-green tones, restless and unsightly.

Unfortunately, my picture has been deleted from Amazon. I would not buy the table for the disk. The table is oval, even as traders images are unfortunately inaccurate (not rectangular with rounded corners).
