The cover acts not screwed, but pressed on what works well: He turns a quasi into the correct position. The lid then place with an audible "click".
With the lid closed, the filler acts "of a piece".
Open then comes the gray grip area to light. This is slightly rubberized so that the hand holding it well. The handholds not disturb so much as with other fillers.
Filled, the filler with two small cartridges or large. The "stylish" design requires that the cartridge you can not see from the outside, so there is no window.
Once in hand, he writes very fine. The first filling with ink should press some ink from the cartridge and they give to the pen tip.
The width is ideal in my eyes, it makes a nice typeface, it slides amazing on paper, which is very pleasant - he has never scratched. I like the almost better than with a (much more expensive) Lamy fountain pen, which I had for a long time.
The major shortcoming is mE but also the shape due and here one has to distinguish between left and right handed but:
I am left-handed: In itself, it is from the grip tip her well in hand. At long letter (what with me very often) pushes one of the corners / contours rather in the back of the hand (a little over half of the space between thumb and forefinger).
For me, the pin is precisely so that exactly one edge of the filler is in this hollow between thumb and forefinger.
Myself that bothers a lot and so I no longer use these fillers actually.
My son is right-handed: For several months, my son (12) has taken over him, because he was quite a while "sharp" on the filler. It does not interfere with this, for he is the "trough" between thumb and forefinger a smooth side on - and this disturbs naturally less.
Conclusion:
The filler is designed really nice, has a very pleasant flow and is in itself good in the hand. The design caused (at least when in a left-handed) with prolonged use, pressing the hand. I recommend everyone - whether right or left handed, try this out yourself.
For that does not bother, he has a very good value for money.
For pronounced write beginners (elementary school), he is in my opinion not recommended, but there are better / more appropriate models.
