I was in all these years, very satisfied with the device (the best that I've ever had - and I had some before that ...). You get with each different brush attachments towards great hairstyles. I myself of all attachments, however, only the very thick brush used ("thorn brush"), because I have very long hair and it got so perfectly smooth and blow-dried into the hair tips a nice sweeping wave.
I used the device nearly every day (including the styling in between times to dry hair condition) and some extensive but after once or twice weekly shampooing. Since the unit was slightly longer in use (about 30 minutes) through the wet hair condition.
Now (since approx 1/2 year now) strikes me: the plastic edge of the device, onto which the brush attachment fitted, has deformed by the heat. This also keep the small screws no longer located at the bottom of the "thorn brush". I have these screws tightened several times, but it always keeps just 5 minutes, they dissolve again when the device is in use. The brush wobbles only back and forth, until the screw finally fly out.
The heat development is just too high. If I have to switch off the device during use once briefly (because I between Comb the hair), it can not be switched on again (ie overheating protection works). I must then wait up to 5 minutes until the device starts again. However, this phenomenon occurred in the early days never on, but only now (but, as I said, for at least 5 years).
As some predecessors have already written here, there is no real cool shot. The so-called. Cold does not blow cool (which they surely will). However, I can not tell the difference, except that the motor blows at this stage only with half power, but just not cool. The air is hot.
The technical weakness of this unit so actually seems to be the automatic heating control. The device is now so hot that I burn my fingers when I have only 5 minutes in use. Why this defect only now and not already occurred from the beginning, however, I can not explain. After the device has years earlier is functioning properly. Perhaps it is because no adequate ventilation is available. The upper edge of the brush attachment is indeed "clogged" with a large cap. The whole heat thus accumulates inside the brush attachment, which is now melted away literally over the years gradually. I'm going to buy myself a new Fönbürste because this has now become obsolete here - but after this long period of use you can not really complain too.
